More about the Landfill Visit

I can see some kids at the landfill. This is where people leave their rubbish.

By Natasha (5years)

I can see twigs from people's gardens. The landfill makes them into compost. The compost is very good for people's gardens. We can recycle garden rubbish.

Taylor, Jack and Tane write about our landfill visit

We went to the landfill at Green Island on Monday.
We found out about the recycling and dumping parts.
We took some photos and wrote some captions.

People chop down the trees and take them to the dump.

Welcome to Room Two

We are a group of five and six year olds at Bradford School in Dunedin. We like to choose stories to read, play outside on the adventure playground, play hide and seek, do puzzles and paint pictures. We think Bradford school is special because it has lots of sports equipment to play with and on Fridays we can have a sausage.
